Survival Island

Survival Island is a horror comedy about a group of students who travel to a remote tropical island for a scavenger hunt and a party. The trip turns dangerous when some of the group break open an ancient piñata, accidentally releasing a bloodthirsty demon or vengeful spirit that had been trapped inside. The young visitors must then fight for their lives as the creature begins hunting them one by one.

The film was produced by Hill & Brand Entertainment and co-directed by David Hillenbrand and Scott Hillenbrand, who also wrote and produced the movie. In the chronological order of their joint directing efforts, this production followed King Cobra and preceded National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze and Dorm Daze 2. The cast includes Jaime Pressly, Nicholas Brendon, Lara Wickes, Casey Fallo, Garrett Wang, and Julia Mendoza.

Since its release on June 14, 2002, the movie has received generally poor feedback from viewers. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 2.6/10 based on 4,800 votes, while on TMDB, it has a score of 4.4/10 from 73 votes.
