Invisible Sister

Cleo is a science-minded teenager who lives in the shadow of Molly, her older and far more popular sister. When one of Cleo's experiments goes wrong, Molly is left invisible. The sisters have to work together to find a way to reverse it before the effect becomes permanent, while keeping Molly's condition hidden from everyone around them. Their differences, which have long kept them apart, become something they must set aside as they race against time.

The film is a Disney Channel television movie directed by Paul Hoen, working from a screenplay by Amy Rardin, Jessica O'Toole and Billy Eddy, with Michael C. Cuddy producing. It is the twelfth of sixteen features Hoen has directed in chronological order, following How to Build a Better Boy and preceding Z-O-M-B-I-E-S. Rowan Blanchard plays Cleo and Paris Berelc plays Molly, with Francesca Capaldi, Karan Brar, Rachel Crow and Ashton Smiley in supporting roles.

Released in December 2015 and running seventy-eight minutes, the film blends adventure, comedy and fantasy. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.9 from roughly 4,300 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.7 from around 316 votes, so the smaller, self-selecting group there is noticeably warmer toward it than the broader IMDb audience.
