Adrián, a conductor with the Bogotá Philharmonic, lives with his girlfriend Belén in a large country house outside the city. When Belén grows suspicious about his fidelity, she vanishes without a trace. Adrián grieves, and before long he finds comfort with Fabiana, a waitress he meets at the restaurant where she works. She moves into the house and into his life, but odd noises and other disturbances make her uneasy, and questions about what happened to Belén keep surfacing. Meanwhile, the police treat Adrián as a suspect.
The film is a Spanish-Colombian mystery thriller directed by Andrés Baiz, who wrote the screenplay with Hatem Khraiche. It was his second feature, following Satanás - Profile of a Killer (2007) and preceding Roa (2013) and Pimpinero: Blood and Oil (2024). Quim Gutiérrez plays Adrián, with Martina García as Fabiana, Clara Lago as Belén, Alexandra Stewart as Emma, and Marcela Mar as Veronica. Produced by Cristian Conti and Andrés Calderón for Dynamo, Fox International Productions Spain and Avalon, it runs 92 minutes and was released in September 2011, made for about 3 million dollars and taking roughly 6 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds 7.3/10 from around 49,000 votes, and on TMDB 7.3/10 from about 1,160 votes, while a small sample of critics averaged 6.5/10, close to the audience scores.
