Inbred

A group of young offenders is sent to the remote Yorkshire village of Mortlake to carry out a weekend of community service, accompanied by two social workers, Jeff and Kate. The villagers take pride in their isolation and want nothing to do with outsiders, and the visitors are met with open hostility. A small incident between the two sides quickly escalates far beyond anyone's expectations, turning the trip into a violent nightmare for everyone involved. The film mixes horror with dark comedy.

Inbred was released in 2011 and runs about ninety minutes. It was directed by Alex Chandon, who also wrote the screenplay with Paul Shrimpton, and produced by Yazid Benfeghoul, Michael Kraetzer and Margaret Milner for New Flesh Films and Split Second Films.
