Knock Knock

Evan Webber is an architect living in California with his wife and two children. When his family leaves for a weekend at the beach, he stays behind to finish an urgent project, home alone in the house he designed. During a storm, two young women, Genesis and Bel, knock at his door, soaked and lost on their way to a party. He lets them in. What begins as a simple act of hospitality turns into a seduction and then into a night of psychological torment, as the visitors subject their host to a campaign of cruelty.

Eli Roth directed and co-wrote the film with Nicolás López and Guillermo Amoedo. It was produced by Colleen Camp, Roth and Cassian Elwes. Keanu Reeves plays Evan, with Lorenza Izzo as Genesis, Ana de Armas as Bel, Aaron Burns as Louis, Colleen Camp as Vivian and Ignacia Allamand as Karen Alvarado. The film is a remake of the 1977 thriller Death Game. It followed The Green Inferno in Roth's filmography.

Produced on a budget of about 3 million dollars, the film took roughly 6 million dollars worldwide. On TMDB it holds a rating of 5.4 out of 10 from more than 3,500 votes, indicating a modest audience response.
