Dilwale

Dilwale is an Indian action comedy set around two families divided by a long-standing feud. Raj, whose past is tied to crime, falls for Meera without knowing she belongs to the rival side. The relationship ends badly, and years pass before their younger siblings, Veer and Ishita, meet and fall in love. Because neither younger sibling knows the history between the older two, the new romance forces Raj and Meera back into each other's lives and raises the question of whether the old conflict will repeat.

Rohit Shetty directed the film, his fourth feature after Singham, Chennai Express and Singham Returns, from a screenplay by Yunus Sajawal. Gauri Khan and Shetty produced it through Red Chillies Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Productionz. Shah Rukh Khan plays Raj, with Kajol as Meera Malik, Varun Dhawan as Veer and Kriti Sanon as Ishita; Boman Irani and Johnny Lever also appear among the twenty credited cast members. It runs 158 minutes.

Made for about 24 million dollars, Dilwale took in roughly 27 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 5.1 out of 10 from around 42,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.6 from about 355 votes. A critics' rating of 4 out of 10 from 15 reviews places it below the audience scores on both platforms.
